Mike has been engaged in juvenile justice ministry as a volunteer chaplain and as a mentor for over 15 years. Mike spent two years of his youth locked-up inside the California juvenile justice system. By the grace of God he moved into a successful career in information technology, holding various technology management positions for financial services companies.

He is currently the director of development for Alamo Juvenile, a web based ministry to help church volunteers to more effectively minister to incarcerated youth. He is the owner-operator of a technology consulting business. He has mentored several inner city youth and he possesses extensive experience as a volunteer chaplain working in juvenile facilities.

He is the Juvenile Justice Ministry Coordinator for First Baptist Church San Antonio, a member of the San Antonio Baptist Association Restorative Justice Committee, a Chaplain Volunteer for Bexar County Detention Ministries, and a faith-based aftercare volunteer for the Texas Youth Commission. He is a strong advocate for troubled youth ministry and speaks in various forums in the state of Texas.
