MIKE GAHAN, Vice Chairman, South Texas Representative

 

Mike spent two years of his life locked-up inside the California Juvenile Justice System as a youth. By the grace of God he moved into a successful career in information technology, holding various manage-ment positions for large financial services companies.

He is currently the executive director of Alamo Juvenile Ministries, a non-profit association of ministries and volunteers, and he is the owner-operator of a technology consulting business. He has mentored inner city youth. He possesses extensive experience as a volunteer chaplain working in juvenile facilities.

He is the Juvenile Justice Ministry Coordinator for First Baptist Church San Antonio, a member of the San Antonio Baptist Association Restorative Justice Committee and a faith-based aftercare volunteer for the Texas Youth Commission. He is a strong advocate for troubled youth ministry in forums through out the state of Texas.
